Join other attendees and wedding vendors for a Welcome Party with a “Last Disco” theme. This is the ultimate event to kick off the weekend of wedding planning. From diverse live music and interactive vendor experiences to crave-worthy food and an open bar, this event is all about celebrating and showcasing the best of the OBX! You will redeem your tickets and receive a wristband and other items at the Welcome Party to make entry into Saturday’s Expo venues quicker. Get ready to sip, sparkle, and dance like it’s the final spin under the disco ball!

SATURDAY, JANUARY 17TH

Meet with local wedding vendors at the Wedding Expo on Saturday, January 17th from 10a to 3p at 108 Budleigh, The Waterfront Trellis, The Pearl Hotel, and The Manteo House.
Talk ideas with planners, find a photographer that you connect with, enjoy samples, and take advantage of special Expo-only deals and discounts!
Check in and redemption for all ticket holders will take place at The Pioneer Theater starting at 10a. Tickets are available for purchase day-of at The Pioneer Theather. Wristbands are required to enter the Expo venues.

Various Venues & Businesses on the Outer Banks
Take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to tour the Outer Banks’ best wedding venues! The Wedding Tour is self-guided and will take place at various venues and businesses located all over the Outer Banks, from Manteo to Carova.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet with Expo vendors again as some will be located at Tour stops. These vendors are referred to as “Secondary Vendors.” A complete list of stops and vendors can be found at obxwa.com/expovendors.
All ticket holders are welcome to attend the Wedding Tour and must present a wristband to visit Tour Stop and Open House locations.

What are the differences between a VIP and a General Admission ticket?
Both ticket types gain a person entry into all three events for the weekend: Friday’s Welcome Party at Pirate’s Cove, Saturday’s Expo at all locations, and Sunday’s self-guided Venue Tour.
VIP ticket holders will receive a raffle ticket for entry the $500 giveaway, exclusive VIP lounge at the Pearl Hotel, as well as a tote bag filled with swag and goodies from our sponsors. VIP tickets are $45.
General Admission tickets are perfect for those who join you for the Wedding Weekend, or for those who may not need the extra VIP perks. General Admission tickets are $25.
How do I redeem my ticket(s)?
You can redeem pre-purchased tickets at the Welcome Party on Friday, January 16th from 6-8p, or you may redeem them at the Pioneer Theater on Saturday morning where Expo Check-in is beginning at 10a. Tickets can also be purchased day-of.
VIP Ticket holders will also redeem other items at time of ticket redemption.
Early redemption is encouraged at Friday’s event to make entering the Expo on Saturday morning a breeze!

A complimentary copy of the 2026 Outer Banks Weddings magazine is given to all expo ticket holders.
How much time should we plan on spending at the Wedding Expo?
One of the best ways to have the most success at the expo is to plan out your experience. It’s important to know exactly what you are looking for and what your budget is prior to attending the Expo. Depending on where you are in your wedding planning, just engaged or almost ready to walk to the altar, you might have different needs and require specific services.
