The Couple
Deirdre + Matt
Wedding Date
September 6, 2024
The overall design and vision for Deirdre and Matt’s wedding was inspired by a fruit market on the Amalfi Coast at sunset. They wanted citrus and vibrant colors galore!
“We wanted our wedding to be different from others that we were used to seeing,” said the bride.
Since they were hosting their wedding at the beach, they wanted to incorporate subtle ocean-inspired elements. Each guests place card was a perfect sand dollar that the bride’s grandmother had collected from the North Carolina coast over the past 20 years. Guests could also choose their own glass at the reception from the very colorful shelf placed behind the bar.
Their unique, bright and fun wedding is sure to inspire you!
This wedding is featured in the 2025 issue of Outer Banks Weddings magazine.
