Vashti & Brian | Corolla Wedding

When Vashti and Brian got engaged, it was no question that they would wed on the Outer Banks. With their closest friends and entire family gathered by their side, this intimate oceanfront ceremony and reception was fill with endless love and laughs captured by Epic Shutter Photography. They began their ceremony on the beach with officiant Tony Joseph of I Do OBX Weddings as the sun began to set. After vows were exchanged, they celebrated just across the dune at a private oceanfront home in Corolla. After delicious cuisine by Ortega’z Grill, they danced poolside under a rising moon with Coastal DJ and Video. The beautiful floral's and confections were provided by The Flower Gallery & The Bakery at Harris Teeter in Kill Devil Hills.

2016 Outer Banks Bride Magazine: Pamlico Pretty

When your love story begins with a first date at the Inn on Pamlico Sound, it is only fitting to start your new lives as husband and wife there too! An Outer Banks Affair guided Hatteras Island locals, Danielle and Aaron, in creating a wedding day that was surrounded in pink with hints of Southern charm. From the personalized programs by HLR Designs and the fun-filled decor by Renee Landry Events to Distinct Delights confections and glamorous linens by Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals, Daniel Pullen Photography is helping us sharing this Pamilco pretty affair featured in the 2016 Outer Banks Bride Magazine.

From the Couple...

How He Asked: "Despite living on Hatteras Island, Danielle had never climbed the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse before, but had talked about it frequently. Aaron arrange a climb to the top of the lighthouse on early evening where he proposed once they arrived to the top."

Why They Chose the Outer Banks: "We both live and met on Hatteras Island, so it seemed like the perfect place to have our special day to share with our friends and family from near far. There's no place like home!"

Weddings Inspiration: "We wanted to incorporate all things on Hatteras Island that are special to us. The Inn on Pamlico Sound is where Aaron took me on our first day and we couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else. Danielle's mother was a huge part of the wedding planning and spent a year planning every detail to perfection."

Favorite Wedding Memory: "One of our favorite wedding day memories is being able to get away after the ceremony. Just the two of us with Kate and Daniel Pullen to take pictures at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse where we had gotten engaged."
