"Growing up on the Outer Banks, I developed a strong love for the ocean and what lay on the other side of it early on. After graduating from college, I worked as a wild horse tour guide in the summers where I saved all of my money for travel. After many winters of backpacking Asia, photography became a big part of my life, providing a way to share and express all that I was experiencing overseas."
"I grew my specialty in portraits and lifestyle and began getting requests from friends wishing for their engagements and weddings to be captured in a similar style to what they were seeing from my travels. While I wasn't expecting to fall in love with capturing weddings, that is exactly what happened."
"When I am shooting weddings, I'm not into stiff, overly posed images. That's just not my thing! However, I am into emotional, lifestyle images that are full of love and life. I want to create art from your wedding day and to create images that will hang on your walls for the next 40 years, eliciting a smile anytime they capture your attention."
