Logan + Shannon | Manteo Wedding
Wedding Date: June 10, 2017 | Hometown: Virginia Beach, VA
With enough lush florals to make you blush, Logan and Shannon's shindig on the Shallowbag Bay is one for the books. Simple dramatic touches and incredible blue skies rounded out the feel for their light and airy day.
From getting pampered at their rental home to Roanoke Island Festival Park's naturally gorgeous setting decorated to perfection, you're going to swoon over every photo.
Their mix of farm tables paired with gold chairs and round tables paired with grey linens and rustic tuscan chairs proved to be a beautiful combination, and the addition of dramatic sheer drapery and a chandelier was a romantic touch.
We know this OBX wedding will give you tons of inspiration, so have fun Pinning and planning for your own special day.

FROM THE COUPLE
Why did you choose to wed on the Outer Banks?
Logan grew up vacationing and taking day trips to the Outer Banks. When we started venue hunting he hoped we could find the perfect venue that the water was somehow incorporated. Shannon grew up in Upstate New York and never envisioned a beach wedding for her dream day. The Outer Banks are a short drive from Virginia Beach so we decided to venue hunt there when we didn’t find anything we loved in our city. When we toured Roanoke Island Festival Park we both fell in love with the sound water view and knew that was the perfect place we were searching for!
What was the inspiration behind your day?
We wanted to keep the wedding feeling light and flowy but tried to use some rustic/French country elements to tie our wedding and venue together.
