The Black Pelican has been operating and serving delectable OBX fare since 1993. What do you love about connecting with couples in person at the expo?

Every year, the Outer Banks Wedding Expo gives us one of our favorite opportunities- connecting with couples face to face. There’s something special about getting to meet the people behind the love stories, hear their visions and share in the excitement of planning their OBX “I Do”. 

We love being able to talk through menus, answer questions, and help couples Imagine how food can elevate their celebration. But it’s the personal connection that means the most. Seeing their reactions, learning there style and getting to know what matters to them helps us create a wedding experience that feels truly their own.

The Expo also lets couples meet the amazing community of OBX wedding pros all in one place- and being part of that energy each year is inspiring and reminds us why we love what we do: the joy, the stories and the chance to help bring unforgettable moment to life.
