When a local OBX wedding planner is getting married, we eagerly await the magic that they will dream up for their own special day. When Ashley, owner of Southern Hospitality Weddings & Events and our Association’s Treasurer, and Brian, owner of Brew Dolly and OBX Custom Dance Floors, were planning their big day, they wanted to create a wedding that was relaxed, fun, and vibe you never wanted to end.

While most of their wedding choices were pretty normal, they did do a few out of the box things like having both a DJ and a band, hosting their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at three different venues, and forgoing a rehearsal dinner.

Their design elements were so impressive. Ashley paired beautiful linens with curated place settings, ensuring lots of color and pattern play was present. We love their personal touches like the use of their monogram in different areas and adding their dog Bodie in various ways. With its many custom details and an incredible escort wall, we know you’ll fall in love with this early September wedding that embodies timeless elegance and skillful planning and design.
