Add this to the top of your to-do list: attend the Outer Banks Wedding Wedding and Expo!
This event is a fun way to check off multiple wedding planning to-do’s in just one weekend! Whether you are just engaged or your wedding is right around the corner, it’s one part of the planning process that you won’t regret.
Find vendors, gain inspiration, and tour venues
The Outer Banks Wedding Expo is unique and unlike any other wedding show! Instead of the overwhelming shuffling through a sea of booths, attendees will be able to chat in a less stressful format where vendors will be putting their best on display at three gorgeous venues that are just a few minutes walk apart–The Waterfront Trellis, 108 Budleigh and The Manteo House in downtown Manteo. VIP ticket holders can also enjoy a special lounge at The Pioneer Theater where they can take a moment to relax and toast with a beverage.
On Sunday, all ticket holders to the Expo are welcome to attend a self-guided Wedding Tour all over the Outer Banks. Many venues and businesses will have additional vendors at their Tour Stops, and some may be decorated like a wedding!
1. Meeting vendors in person is priceless
You may have searched all over the internet for local vendors to hire and found some with an undeniably impressive social media presence or website or reviews, but having the opportunity to meet with vendors face-to-face will let you learn who you click with or fits your vibe. Booking decisions are made easier, and you can learn a lot in one afternoon versus strung out conversations over emails and phone calls.
2. Save money with special Expo-only discounts and giveaways!
Many expo vendors will offer show only deals, discounts or giveaways, giving couples a chance to save hundreds of dollars on their wedding. In addition, at the Outer Banks Wedding Weekend and Expo, attendees can have the chance to win $1,000 to use towards their OBX wedding with the vendor of their choice!
3. Gain inspiration
Vendors work to create a great first-impression, and many decorate their booths with the latest trends in wedding design. Be inspired by more than just florals and decor… maybe you’ll find a catering menu that inspires your cuisine for any of your wedding events.
All ticket holders are welcome to attend the weekend’s three events:
- Friday, January 16th from 6p – 8p: Welcome Party at The Pavilion at Pirate’s Cove
- Saturday, January 17th from 10a – 3p: Wedding Expo at 108 Budleigh, The Waterfront Trellis, and The Manteo House
- Sunday, January 18th from 11a – 3p: Wedding Tour (self-guided) all over the OBX
