Justin + Sarah | Charlotte, NC
Justin and Sarah's cozy yet elegant wedding day had a natural feel with its supremely lush floral designs and panoramic oceanfront ceremony. From the bride's bouquet to the enchanting vines hanging overhead, Bells & Whistles pulled out all the stops. The couple toasted to their new life together as husband and wife at a place they both dearly love with the help The Proper Setting to coordinate from afar. We're thrilled that their vision came together perfectly with the help of an amazing team of OBWA vendors in this Outer Banks Weddings Magazine 2017 Real Wedding feature!

FROM THE COUPLE
Why the chose to wed on the Outer Banks: Soon after coming home to Charlotte, we decided the Outer Banks was where we wanted to get married. I grew up in New Jersey and my family visited the Outer Banks every summer for vacation. Justin grew up in Virginia and visited often with his family as well, so we both felt it was a great place to join our families.
The inspiration behind their wedding: We visited again in September 2015 with my parents and picked the venue. We loved how cozy the First Colony Inn was, and could both envision our friends and family all spending the weekend together celebrating there. After the when and where were picked, everything that followed was really a collaborative effort by Justin and I and our families. My mom had a beautiful vision in her head of a very natural but elegant décor, and all of the vendors we worked with really helped to bring that vision to reality.
